I think she told me her name right from the beginning but I simply couldn't understand her French. She's Violette. Vi for short.
I'm also pretty sure about AGT24's name - Julie Amelie (zhoo-LEE Ah-may-LEE). I will be bringing Julie Amelie home from the AG convention in NY. AND Julie Amelie speaks both French and English so she'll be Violette's interpreter! Yay! Viollete can't wait to meet Julie. She's getting pretty desperate for someone to talk to.
Julie Amelie's favorite magazine is a french mag called "julie". It's a real magazine for 8-12 yo girls and my sister gets me a copy when she goes over to the U.K. They often have a mini mag in the back so Violette and Julie Amelie will have mini French mags like my other dolls have their mini AG mags. Way fun.

Dolls: Josefina, Kit, Susanna Laura (AGT16), Nellie, Marisol, Violette (AGT11) and soon Julie Amelie (AGT24)

How cool to have a mini-mag in French! Not that anyone in my house could read it, since the languages in which I did NOT distinguish myself in school were Latin and Spanish. I think it's interesting that your GT11 is French. All mine are Native Americans, even though one is named Bridget.
It's good you will bring home an interpreter soon. I would be so frustrated to have a girl who didn't speak my language!

Julia, are you pronouncing Violette as "vee-o-lette"?

I was just coming back to ask you that!
I thought about her in London when I saw these guides to the City in French!
